Built by two people tired of gym memberships

FitGear Pro started in a garage in 2021, when our founders — a mechanical engineer and a physical therapist — got tired of paying for a gym they visited twice a month and equipment that took up a whole spare room.

The first prototype of the adjustable resistance dial was built from parts ordered off three different hardware sites and held together with a hose clamp. It worked. Eighteen months and eleven prototypes later, the version we ship today was born.

We're still a small team. No venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs roadmap — just a product we use ourselves, improved based on what customers actually tell us breaks or annoys them.
